Alright. Let me start off by saying a few things first.

1.) I am not saying I am not guilty of this. (I have been drawn into some flaming/arguing)
2.) I will not name people, because everyone already knows who they are. I just don't feel like pointing fingers and starting a flame war.
3.) I don't mean to offend anyone. It's just a simple thing we need to change.

Alright, now that I've stated that, here is what I think we need to change. A lot of us have been "trolling" (loose sense of the word, some "troll" harder than others) on threads and of the sort. Also, some have been posting stupid memes on serious threads. (Albeit sometimes a serious thread is stupid in all its sense) I just thing that, hell, we're RP STAFF. We should be more professional when speaking to users/VIPs/mods. (Yes, that includes mods be professional towards others.) I can understand if it's poking around. But some guys just troll others for the hell of it. Recently, there was that one thread about some dude complaining that there were admins that were being mean/abusing. Albeit the guy was throwing out false accusations, many people went off on a tangent and decided to post memes/ troll the guy. (You know what thread I'm talking about. I did a bit of arguing myself.)

TL; DR: We need to get our shit together, and show that there's a reason we deserve to have a position in staff.

Please add any comments you have on this topic. (And please, for our sake and yours, don't point fingers at people and start a flame war. Simply state "We should also fix this" or "I agree" or "I disagree because.....")

Something to remember. If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all. It's better off you not saying anything, than you saying something and coming off as unprofessional and immature.

EDIT: Also, one of the reasons I made this thread was: I didn't want the higher ups to have to step in later because it gets too out of hand (If it ever does) and talk with eachother and leave us in the dark. I believe we need to step in, take action, and control ourselves as a staff, and not a bunch of separate, random admins.

Perhaps higher ups should consult about staff members and their attitudes on certain ban appeals and etc. Certain things I have noticed at the posting of memes on ban appeals. This was something I was warned about my second month of moderator and seems to be forgotten. In my honest opinion, this shouldn't be happening at all. I'm not saying "It's the number one problem we have." Because it's not. But it is happening, even when it shouldn't. I don't believe that a double+ should be responsible for something that WE, as admins/mods, should be monitoring ourselves. Doubles+ can deal in appeals, abusing, stuff like that. But simple things, like controlling our inside trolls, should be dealt with by ourselves. So I'm just shedding some like on the subject.

Nope not that one. That guy was a troll, and I do agree that guy deserved it. No, there were others.

They acted all mature and shy until they got perma then they started to troll/derail threads and shit

I haven't noticed any incline of this behavior recently...and I think most of the time the problem is people take stuff to seriously.

And like bearthug said, if this were a problem then a higher up would have said something. You probably should have contacted a higher up rather than make a general thread about all RP staff. Because it appears that something has specifically happened to you

I understand where Bio is coming from, but I do agree with conquistador since it somewhat connects with my statement as to, a double+ would have done something and if something is really that bad then you should pm a higher staff member. Not generalize the whole rp staff...

I don't know how I act, really. The only time I'm not professional is probably on trolling threads or threads that are not that serious. I'd love to get your opinions on my level of professionalism because that's the bar I want to set.

I'm not trying to generalize all of the RP staff. (Even though I kinda am) I just don't want to point out specific people, and I don't feel as if it's big enough of a problem for the higher ups to really need to deal with it. I'm just saying, since we're all on the same level, we need to work together to limit ourselves from acting unprofessional in serious situations. (But no one will punch you in the face if you post a meme on a thread that's not serious.)

I believe that you handle most things professionally. You're a great admin, and a "mentor" if you will. xD
